Primitive finishing means antiqued and distressed look (the paint will be sanded off and there will be dents in wood to make it look older). Primitive Black, Blue, Hunter Green, Plum and Red will arrive with tops and knobs unpainted, with the natural finishing on it, just like shown on the sample picture. If you need to change it, and have the whole piece painted you can request it in the comments field on your order form or by calling us.
