Mexican Rustic Furniture
Our Mexican Rustic Old World Furniture line is just as its sounds. Made by local artisans, using decade long techniques. This furniture is made out of aged solid pine and will have common defects. This wood is not completely sanded, nails may be exposed, although exposed nails are not very common, there will be knots and unevenness. It is all part of the charm. It’s rustic furniture at its truest and will last for generations. I encourage you to do this. First, put some color on it. You can use any stains, oil based or water based or paint to liven it up. If you’re happy with the light brown, then put some clear topcoat over it. It has oil, wax based stain on it and over time, if left untreated, will get dirty. Plus adding clear will make it easier to wipe. Add at least 2-3 coats.

Ozark Cedar
The beauty of cedar is truly natures work. Cedar wood furniture has long been a symbol of quality work. Our cedar is Northern White Cedar. Cedar wood is prone to flaking called checking and further splitting. It is normal to see see splits that are 2-3 inches. It is natural for cedar to grey over time if left untreated. We recommend you finish your piece.
