The four sides and bottom are attached using a cam bolt system. When you get to the putting on the top, it helps to have an extra set of hands to hold it steady. Included and a must is the lid support. It’s a safety hinge so the top does not slam down. There are bumpers on the lid, so even when the lid is closed there is still an opening for air. The bottom features a reversible cedar lining; yes it has the cedar smell. Since its reversible you can choose to not use it. This is made out of Alder and Red Birch hardwoods. This wood storage chest has so many uses including storing toys, cloths, blankets and shoes. Consider using it as a bench, it will support up to 250 pounds no problem. The overall measurements are 34 3/4" W x 18 1/2" D x 18 1/2" H. This will arrive to your doorstep unfinished and unassembled. *If you do not like the cedar smell simply seal the entire bottom surface. |
